Location
Campbeltown is the historic principal town in Kintyre, situated at the southern end of the peninsula and famous for its mild climate, golf courses, sandy beaches, whisky distilleries and great variety of wildlife and history. It is easy to reach and provides a wonderful holiday setting for families, birdwatchers, walkers, photographers, anglers and golfers.
How to find us
We operate from the pontoon in Campbeltown, next to the pier and the Tourist Information Centre.
By Car
From Glasgow (and Glasgow Airport) follow signs to the Erskine Bridge, then take the A82 to Tarbet on Loch Lomond. From there take the A83 to Campbeltown. The pier is at the bottom of Main Street. The journey from Glasgow takes approximately three hours and provides breathtaking scenery along Loch Lomond and wonderful views of the Inner Hebridean islands of Gigha, Islay and Jura.
By Bus
Two companies - Citylink and West Coast Motors - operate a bus service three times daily to and from Glasgow, and drop off in Campbeltown, close to the Pier. The journey takes about 4½ hours.
By Plane
British Airways operate two flights a day to Campbeltown Airport, with a journey time of less than half an hour. The airport is close to Machrihanish and just a short taxi journey from Campbeltown, or we can arrange a transfer as part of your charter.
By Boat
Don’t forget that we can pick you up from other ports if you are coming to Campbeltown! For golfers wishing to play at Machrihanish or Dunaverty, we will be happy to arrange a transfer for you and your clubs.
