The
seas around the Mull of Kintyre are the meeting place for the Atlantic,
the Irish Sea, and the Clyde, so the North Channel can provide
an exhilarating experience: exciting but safe!
Our
crews have an excellent knowledge of the local history and wildlife.
Possible sightings (although we cannot guarantee these) include
golden eagles, peregrine falcons, ravens, basking sharks, dolphins,
porpoises, seals, minke whales, otters, wild goats, red, sika and
roe deer, and many varieties of sea-birds. Places of historical
interest include Blood Rock (scene of Scotland's forgotten massacre),
the Davaar Cave (with its secret painting), a variety of hill forts,
castles and lighthouses.
Our core wildlife trip to the Mull of Kintyre lasts around 2 hours
and off-peak costs are from £25 per adult and £15 for
children (under 17). Group and family discounts apply.
Other
tours to Arran, Ailsa Craig, the Ayrshire coast and Northern Ireland
are available.
Our tour vouchers make an ideal birthday or surprise gift.
All tours are subject to suitable weather conditions. In the event
of non-sailing full refunds will be made immediately.
